I don't think they will win much next year just because they are a new team. Look how long it took Dodge to get a win. I think it was 3. years. also take a look who the drivers will be. Walthrup has not won in Nextel at all this year. Jerrett hasnt won in over 2 years. Toyota may have a lot of money which is good for the team but you can not buy wins.

I think they will win 1 race before the end of the year. I would even go so far as to say a plate race. Guys like Waltrip and Jarrett know how to drive, they just had poor equipment this year. The problem as I see it is there won't be enough info to share outside of the MWR team, the Bill Davis folks haven't set the world on fire the last few years but they have a plate win too.

Well, as with any new team I don't think you can expect them to be an instant success, its going to take time to get everything set up. After saying that though, you need to remember that next year with the car of tomorrow coming out, everyone is going to struggle a little, so I wouldn't be surprised if Toyota ends up being a force.
As far as what I think of Toyota joining NASCAR... well, I get why people don't like it, but I don't care too much. Maybe it will bring more fans to the sport.

Well with the money Toyota will funnel into their program most of the teams will have all they need.I really do not like their way of doing things. The other manufacturers will sell motor componants and other parts to the independent teams but Toyota said these items are for there teams only none for the independant teams that have helped the sport grow.
So I don't give a hoot if they even quailify.

Excellent. All their cars are better than American cars, why wouldn't their NASCARs be better as well. Personally I think NASCAR is mind numbing and wish that Toyota would use their clout for real racing like GT, F1, WRC.
