I was 21 and she was 23, but she said after 2 months she couldn't deal with it anymore, in particular she hated me giving my opinion even tho it may have been right simply because she felt she was older, and that my opinion didnt matter as much because of that....I thought it was a pretty lame excuse to call it quits.

Many people don't provide the real reason for leaving because they believe the person they are leaving won't be able to handle the truth. So, they give a lame excuse. Now that you are no longer together, and she won't have to listen to your argument, she might be more inclined to tell you the truth.
If you want to know what really made her leave you, send her a card and ask. It might not have anything to do with your opinions or your mental ability. She might just have found someone else who she thinks does better at providing her with the things that are important to her.
This is not something to be pissed about. You are lucky. She walked out of your life rather than insisting on staying in it and trying to mold you into someone you aren't and would not be happy even considering. Some women nag their husband their entire life, trying to change him into what they view as the ideal guy. It would be so much easier on them if they just found another husband, and made sure he's the right one this time.
Consider yourself lucky, move on, and be careful who you hook up with in the future. The next one might not want to leave. She might just make up her mind to kick your butt into submission.

Really that is not a excuse to dump anybody because of there age, a young person may have more wisdom then a person that is older and that is the truth...Age shouldn't be the factor unless that she felt that you were to immature for her or she felt that she wanted an older man that pleased her in ways that you didn't...Technically we women will find excuses to cut out on our men when we really want out and we don't want to be truthfull about it and tell him what the real problem is. To me I think that she is the one who is acting immature and not you.

based on your question- i refused dating any1 younger than me too. No offence but i seriously cant commit to any1 younger. Tried couple of times and honestly i dont and never try making it work. It is just me. But breaking up due to opinions coz you are younger is obviously lame excuse, you shud tel her to grow up!

Well, she's an idiot.
I think, though, that she wasn't being honest with you. The reason she dumped you wasn't the minor difference in age -- it's because you don't make enough money, you're her intellectual inferior, or you just couldn't satisy her in bed.
