ok well i met this guy and he gave me his phone number, but we didnt really meet he just sort of told me his name and gave me his number. i want to call him but im really shy and i dont no what to say! please help me!
by the way...im only 14 so don't tell me advice you would give to someone older please!

Well im 18 and i still get nervous when calling guys some times so to prepare myself i write down at least 15 things to ask him like just common questions such as whens ur birthday, what u like to do for fun, how many sisters or brothers, just simple stuff like that and every time he answers u answer ur own question too like well i got 1 bro and 2 sisters or well i like to go to the movies or so...but before u call u still might be nervous so go to an area that u feel comfortable in and make sure u wont be disturbed and then take a deep breath and call. First of all, if this guy is older than fifteen, don't call him. If he is your age, call him and just talk. Don't talk about stupid stuff, like hoedowns, unless you know for a fact that you are both interested in hoedowns. Secondly, don't only call him if you are attracted to him. Just talk about normal stuff, like stuff that you would talk to your friends about. If you are not sure about the nature of the relationship he is asking for, ask about it. If it is like sex or something, hang up. I can't tell you much more because I don't usually call these guys back. Good luck.

this is really hard to do, but play it cool. play like you're sort of interested but yet you sort of don't care. but don't sound that you could care less. call him up and say something like ,"hey, you gave me your phone number so i suppose you wanted to do something....." something close to that. remember, he's just as nervous as you. jokes do a **** load to break the ice. not a simple ordinary joke. like what i say sometimes (not to break the ice but because i seriously want the anwser) is like you know the movie jeepers, creepers? how he has to eat bodyparts in order to have them? well, how in the world does her get a colon? use something funny like that.

I would just call him and try and not be shy. I know it's hard and everything but sooner or later u have to get out of that. But I would call him, and just brin up a conversation.

well just call him thats why he gave you his number thers nothing to be nerveos abaut its only in the phone and when you call him just start with something simple like where are you from or whats your name simple questions and then just keep the conversation going i hope this helps you . bye

I think you should call him and have a nice chat! Or, if you are too uncomfortable with doing that, you can just not call him and next time you see him, tell him your number so he can call you!

well if you thought that there was any chance for anything(relationship) to happen then you should call him and if he really thought there was a chance then he would most likely do all the talking all you have to do is agree or disagree or add in a comment when or if you want to

at that age it is completly normal to be shy. but guess what? he is shy too!! it dosent really matter what you say to him just call him and make small talk, and dont rush into anything your only 14
