Tylenol (also known as acetaminophen) is safe to take according to my OB/GYN. I've had two children and was told both times to only take this for pain or headaches....not any other over the counter pain reliever. And only take the recommended dosage. If you do not feel comfortable with that, you need to call your dr to get his/her advice. And maybe a list of things you are allowed to take during pregnancy. For example for cough, allergies, sinus, and so on. Hope this helps! Also...congrats and best wishes!

Yes it is safe throughout your pregnancy. The dose is 500mg - 1000mg (1g) every 6 hours. The maximum dose in 24 hours is 8 tablets or 4 g.
I am a MD

I would be careful what you take as anything can cross the placental barrier and effect the fetus. Take Tylenol only and when you go for your first OB appointment, the doctor should provide a list of medications you can take. If you are late on your period, you could be as much as four weeks pregnant or as little as a week to 10 days, so, always use caution.
Remember, even a fetus gets a dose of anything you take.

Most of embassies advise people not to travel to destinations like Greece, Mogadishu or Bangkok in such times, and is the possibility the situation might escalate and occupy the airport in order to make their voices heard. I would suspect the islands might not be affected as in Athens for example, however it always takes a small group people with 'problems' to affect the tourists' life. Keep an eye on the news and Home office web site.

It is fine if you take acetaminophen, but do not take anything else! Just follow the directions on the bottle!
