hang a ceiling fan, put a car on a lift and change the oil, knock over a glass of milk, put stuff in a box where the bottom flaps came unglued, put stuff in a paper bag that has a small hole in the bottom, drive down the road with a tuna casserole on the front seat and jam the brakes on real hard, forget about a fresh-baked pie that's cooling on the window sill of a third-story apartment when your sister visits with your 2-yr-old nephew, and you will find that. . . gravity never forgets.
