There is this girl I like in one of my classes, and I want to ask her out. We really don't talk in person much, but we chat online. I found a concert she'd be interested in and am having a hard time asking. What is a great way to calm your nerves?

just be confident. and, don't FEAR rejection!! i know, it's hard. but u have to realize, you like this girl. that should be Flattering to her. if she says no, it's her loss. not in a mean, jerky way, but seirously, ur just trying to have a good time w/ a girl u like. if she doesn't want to, fine then. DON'T let it get you down... it's a learning process as u grow older. right now u are doing exactly what u Should be doing.. and who knows, if it goes well and she says yes, Awesome! never second guess urself.. do what u can and need to do, stay Positive, Happy and Healthy, and use that to help you in life.... that way, even if u are sad, u can get thru the hard times :).
if i were u, i'd take some time out each day to exercise: it helps maintain ur body as well as get some stress out. psychologically it helps u feel good about urself, u feel productive
next i'd get some nice clothes, flattering and stylish, maybe even a new haircut (eventually).... just so that u are continuing to feel good about urself..and girls like guys who take care of themselves.... if u are doing it for her, it is flattering as well :).
finally, just find courage to go for things that u want.... just make sure u Respect her answer, even if it was not what u expected. remember, even if she says yes there's no guarantee that u will "click". just go with the flow~~

Think of the absolutely most ridiculously awful scenerio that could happen when you ask her, then think of how likely that is to happen. If she chats online with you chances are there is some interest and the concert will just be icing. You are going to do great. Don't over stress. Just ask.

Bring up something that you two had chatted over previously. That will start up a conversation. Theynmention you have tickets to a concert and thought of her. Relax though. She's just another human being. Good Luck!

take a huge deep breath and imagine you are talking to her online if it helps think about punching in the letters on the keyboard She is probably as nervous as you are or ask her online then get her to meet up to confirm dates and times of the concert like you would in business and remember if you chat on line you have at least some-thing in common comps

you just have to relax. its not like she is a rock star or something she is just a girl in your class. treat her like a real person and you should have no problems. go talk to her she will probably be impressed that you suggest going to a concert for your first outing. if by chance she does turn you down then just remember there will always be another girl around the corner.

You just Relax,Relate and Release and start holding a general conversation and gradually mention that you thought about going to that concert and ask if she would like to go with you.

It never is easy for a man to ask a lady on a date, but it does get easier.
Just go and ask her. The next girl you ask will be easier.
Oh, yeah, it didn't get easy for me until I got married, and even then my wife would tell me NO!
