I wish I knew... I'm troubling over the same thing

If a guy likes you, well it depends on the guy. If he is a jock, he will start showing off and trying to chat you up.
If he's a jerk, he'll probably be less of a jerk around you than he usualy is.
If he's a little shy but caring (like me) he'll try to talk to you more, be around you more, hug you if you allow him/accept the hugs you give him.
If he is really shy, he will be too scared to even be in the same room as you, never mind talk to you (you'll have to make the first move)

He will want to be around you every chance he gets. He will smile and make small talk. He will look at you a lot. If he is an open and confident guy he will probably ask you to go out with him. Trust your intuition, one can feel when someone is being more then politely friendly.

I go with the eye contact thing, like Rusty S said at the beginning. Look at him and see if he looks and back at you and will maintain eye contact for a bit...

i guess i'll answer this...
if a guy likes you he'll stare at you alot... if he sees you talking with another guy he'll get mad... if a guy talks alot around his friends and other people but becomes shy around you it means he likes you... or that you're reallly really ugly and that they're making fun of you.
