The wrestling coach wants me to join the team at my school, but i dread practices. I want my ground game to be better for MMA. So should I choose Muy-Thai and Brazillian Jiu jitsu our wrestling?

Brazilian Jiu jitsu is the best ground game strategy in mma. Wrestling has too many techniques that don't help you in a mma match. Muy Thai can be used with BJJ to give you a good all around game.

I say if you can get all 3 in that would be great. Wrestling helps your ground game because it allows you to control someone while on the ground. BJJ helps your ground game by allowing you to submit as well as avoid submissions while on the ground. If you notice a very stron wrestler (if able to avoid a submission) will be able to beat a BJJ guy. Train Muy-Thai to become a better stricker as well as to avoid being knocked out. You want to be an MMA fighter or a better one, then guess what you need to practice. And you need to train heavy on everything. If you hate practice then you will never make it.

well if you want your ground game to be better, definately Brazillian Jujitsu. Get some wrestling background as well. If you prefer striking then definately Muay Thai. However from experience I know that grappling is very effective if you can manage to get your opponent down.

For wrestling Brazilian Jui Jitsu. If you want to become a more rounded person and learn about techniques you can't use in wrestling, Muay-Thai.

Muy Thai. Definitely. You should try to find a gym that offers all techniques.

If you dread practices then don't do the sport.
