I don't think it's weird. I've always read gross books about serial killers and looked at pictures of dead bodies but if I hear about animal testing or abuse I freak out. I can't deal with stories about animals getting hurt unless I know there is a happy ending. I've been this way my whole life. It's just the way I am and most of my friends feel the same way.

I find the Human race in the majority a disgrace to see how we treat all creatures, we think we are so intelligent and supreme, i think not, we are the most destructive living creature that ever walked this lonely planet and unless we change our ways we do not deserve to exist.
Seeing another human suffer is sad but different because we associate the "human" with the general populous, a populous that sometimes we find despicable, even when its an innocent human i think we register a difference because of what the human race has done overall to the life on this planet.
I feel so much worse when i see an animal suffer, and yet i really cant explain why this is so, and yet as we do so much wrong to the animal world we are forgiven so easily.

I'm the same. I have more compassion for animals then certain people. And most of the time when an animal is hurt or suffering it's because someone did something to it.

Maybe suffering experienced by an person makes you too closely related..... maybe your seeing the suffering person as yourself? All human beings suffer. A suffering animal on the other hand has no species connection to us. Easier to have compassion for the innocent than to have compassion for ourselves. eh' ?

Don't worry, I feel the same way; humans got the right to make choices (we always have choices even if the options don't seem like much at the time); however, animals don't have that, they have to live or die or suffer by man's hand. So, no, I don't think it's wierd at all. :)

God in effortless terms created Adam and Eve. My mom and my drug addicted Dad created me. God did no longer created human beings with poor disfigurements, we did, with the orange agent and all different reason. Joseph would desire to are starting to be some surgical operation while he became youthful. confident, I learn that standard human beings are not grateful with what they have... a number of them committed suicide. I even have beginning illness, i'd supply something to have a typical face and to have a typical existence. So unhappy widespread human beings take it with no attention. i think of to help others how fortunate they're.... inner elegance? Nah. i don't have elegance interior me. i'm only like all human beings else. No... God does not prefer to regulate us. confident to be glad about what you have. No... yet I see human beings's actual colour. God did no longer enable suffering... Jesus became right here, he heal many human beings. yet Jewish human beings have been given rid of him. God did no longer create horror, the devil did. No, it relatively is the sign that the devil does exist.

I kinda know how you feel. I don't think its weired at all! This is what I think why you may feel like that: animals can never hurt you (except if they bite or scratch you) and people can by telling lies about you and other things like that. Animals are always there for you and you can tell them anything cause that won't go blabbing it all over school! I hope this helps you!

i think the key words are 'innocent' and 'helpless' which most humans are not. that is probably why you feel worse for a suffering animal.

I understand exactly how you feel - animals can only defend themselves to a certain degree particularly from humans - and we humans are our own worst enemy - animals can't express to us exactly what they are going through so I think we imagine things at their worst scenario (it's kind of equivalent to having a sick baby - they can't tell you what hurts or how bad it hurts, you can only try to comfort them)

Oh crap, I can't explain it but I understand and feel what you're saying
