"The future of this Republic is in the hands of the American voter."

I desperately need a source on this quote. Does anyone know where I can find it or what book it has been reprinted in?

Thank you,

Dr. Brian

Eisenhower, Dwight D. 34th president of the United States (1890-1969) .

I have tried for almost an hour (I was also interested) to find the above mentioned quote. I even read all the Annual addresses to Congress , but unfortunately was not able to find it. Sorry.
Wish you luck.

I could not find that specific quote when I searched, and since you did not say what speech it is from, I couln't really look for it properly.
I perused his farewell address but to no avail, although it seems like something he might have said then.
I am giving you a link which has all of his inaugural speeches, and links to various other speeches.
Hope this helps you.
