First, is your girlfriend an adult?
Do you own her?
It is not a question of whether you are "letting" her go, it is a question of whether she decides to go.
Just be thankful that she told you. You let her know what your preference is, but ultimately she is her own person and she'll have to decide whether or not to honor your preference.

Your question is confusing. Why would she need your permission to go to a concert in Detroit? If you are asking whether she should accompany you and your friends given the fact that she would be going without any money, this is another question. If it is your car and your trip then you have a right to invite whoever you want. If the car belongs to someone other than you or your boyfriend, then that decision is up to the driver, not up to you. Unless someone is willing to fund this girl's trip, I can't see that she has the means to go to Detroit without money.

would you let her go???? You really don't have a say to what she does. She is not owned by anyone. But I do suggest you do take a cell phone along, just in case you need one. And take some money stashed in your jeans, don't take a bag, just the stuff you really have to have with you. And make sure you are smart. Don't take drinks from strangers, don't play with strange guys to make them think you are available. And don't act foolishly. For goodness sake, if you are smart and careful, you can do whatever you want to do. Just act like an intelligent woman. And don't flash. That is so immature.

UUmmm, thats not up to you. If she is a big girl then she can make that choice. Now this is for your girlfriend, when your man is worried bout you cause you are car pooling and have no cell phone, then maybe he should buy that stuff for you. Girl go have fun, don't let your so called man keep you home, sounds like he just insecure. Have Fun!!!

Hope she is old enough to know what she is doing and not be influenced by people who would get her in trouble and i'm sure u trust her.just do her a favor, or ya'll do both each other a favor.dont think the other is going to cheat cause that will make u want to cheat cause u think the other is cheating.

if you trust her..you will. dont say you dont want her to go then sh'ell think ur too controlling. let her go..if something happens it happens and she doesnt truly care for you. if not..its only a concert....not a big deal if she is trustworthy u'll have no problem. trust me no one likes being in a relationship where the other person tries to control someone else's moves..its just annoying and it never works out

you cannot prevent her from going if she wants to. you have to trust her if you love her. About the cell phone and money I would advice her to find some because it will be danger for her to go without.

Yes, if she'll be with friends. Strength in numbers and trust go a long ways.
