OK- this is every man I know's favorite meal, and it's pretty easy. Ready?

Caesar salad- Get some Romaine lettuce and break it into pieces with your fingers. Throw some grated Parmesan cheese on top, and mix some Caesar dressing up in it. (The Hidden Valley brand is quite good, and so is Newman's Own.)

Main course- Ribeye steak. Get some ribeye steak (usually about $8 a pound) at the grocery store. You can either grill them if you have a barbecue or you can broil them in the oven. If you broil them, first season them with some onion salt and a little regular salt too, and then put them on the broiling pan (that pan with the holes in it that probably came with your oven) and set the oven to "broil." How long you cook them depends on how rare you both like your meat. It will be about 15 min. for a rare steak, 20 for medium, and almost 30 for well-done. The oven temp should be about 375.
Serve it with mashed potatoes. To make: Peel about 7 or 8 medium-sized potatoes. Cut them into fourths and toss them into some lightly salted, boiling water in a big pot. Let them boil for about 25-30 minutes, or until they get sort of mushy when you poke at them with a fork. Then CAREFULLY pour the water and potatoes into a colander to drain the water out. Using either a fork, an electric mixer, or a potato masher, mash the potatoes together, along with about 1/4 cup milk and about half a stick of butter. Delicious!!!!

Dessert: How about some delicious brownie sundaes? You can buy pre-made brownies at the store. Take them home and right before you serve dessert, pop the brownies in the microwave for about 30 seconds to warm them up, and then just put a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some hot fudge or caramel or whatever you prefer on top. He'll love it!!!

first- a salad in a little bowl eg.lettuce, cheese, tomato, cucumber etc.
second- pasta (fills there tummy up)
third- bread and butter pudding (easy)with cream over the top

Bread and Butter Pudding
Ingredients
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
4 tablespoons butter or margarine, more or less as needed, at room temperature
5 slices crust-on white bread
1/2 cup golden raisins
2 cups milk
2 eggs

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Add cinnamon to sugar in cup and mix well. Set aside. Generously spread one side of each piece of bread with butter or margarine. Cutting diagonally, slice each in half. Arrange triangle slices in cassarole dish, slightly overlapping, with butter-side up and cut edges facing the same direction, making a spiral. As you add the bread, sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. Put milk in small bowl, add eggs, and using whisk or fork, mix to blend well. Pour milk mixture over bread and raisins in cassarole dish. now find a bigger dish put the first dish inside the 2nd dish and half fill 2nd dish with water then put in oven this stops pudding from burning on the bottom. Bake in oven for about 30 minutes, or until top is golden brown. Serve the pudding while still warm in individual dessert bowls. It is eaten plain or with cream poured over it.
