No, those are 2 seperate departments. Your SS is Federal. Your driver's License is a state department.

No, or anything else else your social security information. Your social security card is not to be used for identification. You can, and should refuse to give out your social security number to anyone who asks for it, including loan officers on their applications. The only place that has a legitimate right to have it is federal agencies, like the IRS for example.

No, but in some states your license can have your SS# on it as a state I.D. number...Some states allow you to remove your SS# and the state should provide another number. Note: I don't think state or federal agencies are allowed to share your info. If one agency needs something from you, they have to ask you, not another ageny

.yes if you are ever pulled over by law enforcement and you do not have your license on you they ask you for bday and ss# and use that to verify your license number and if you are legal todrive
