The Bible has been changed many times whereas the Koran hasn't been changed at all.
The Koran is important because you have to make ablution before you pray it. you are not allowed to put the Koran on the floor. The Koran should always be higher than everything else. You can't touch the Koran in a state of impurity e.g. when blood is flowing from a wound then you can't pray it. The Koran must be recited in a certain way and if it isn't then it is a major sin. Anyone who learns the entire Koran will go straight to Paradise.

Four revelations of Allah (swt) are mentioned by name in the Qur’an: the Taurah, the Zaboor, the Injeel and the Qur’an.

Taurah, the revelation i.e. the Wahi given to Moosa (a. s.) i.e. Moses (pbuh).
Zaboor, the revelation i.e. the Wahi given to Dawood (a.s.) i.e. David (pbuh).
Injeel, the revelation i.e. the Wahi given to Isa (A.S.) ie. Jesus (pbuh).
‘Al-Qur’an’, the last and final Wahi i.e. revelation given to the last and final Messenger Muhammad (pbuh).

It is an article of faith for every Muslim to believe in all the Prophets of God and all revelations of God. However, the present day Bible has the first five books of the Old Testament attributed to Moses and the Psalms attributed to David. Moreover the New Testament or the four Gospels of the New Testament are not the Taurah, the Zaboor or the Injeel, which the Qur’an refers to. These books of the present day Bible may partly contain the word of God but these books are certainly not the exact, accurate and complete revelations given to the prophets.

The Qur’an presents all the different prophets of Allah as belonging to one single brotherhood; all had a similar prophetic mission and the same basic message. Because of this, the fundamental teachings of the major faiths cannot be contradictory, even if there has been a considerable passage of time between the different prophetic missions, because the source of these missions was one: Almighty God, Allah. This is why the Qur’an says that the differences which exist between various religions are not the responsibility of the prophets, but of the followers of these prophets who forgot part of what they had been taught, and furthermore, misinterpreted and changed the scriptures. The Qur’an cannot therefore be seen as a scripture which competes with the teachings of Moses, Jesus and the other prophets. On the contrary, it confirms, completes and perfects the messages that they brought to their people.

Another name for the Qur’an is the ‘The Furqan’ which means the criteria to judge the right from the wrong, and it is on the basis of the Qur’an that we can decipher which part of the previous scriptures can be considered to be the word of God.

Quran( the book of Signs ) is the book revealed for the whole of Mankind...

The holy e book or bible of the Jewish faith is the Torah. that's what Christians call the previous testomony. the recent testomony tells the tale of Jesus and the apostles. while Christians confer with the bible they recommend the two the previous and New Testaments. The Koran is the holy e book of the Muslim faith. Muslims even have self belief in the validity of the Jewish and Christian holy books. Christians have self belief in the validity of the Jewish holy e book. for that reason all 3 'bibles' are extensively comparable. they're all interlinked and stick to on from one yet another. all of them pontificate peace and love. no rely in case you think of their followers practice what they pontificate is a controversy for a diverse question....

You can take the piss out of the Bible without getting beat up, the Koran is in Arabic and the Bible in something approaching english and thank God there is no New English Koran published yet, Think I will stick to updating the Bible to the modern idiom and leave the Koran alone,
One day Mary and Joseph headed off down the smoke but when they looked for somewhere to kip all the B and Bs and Hostels were full "Whyest art thou full" enquired Joseph of the Innkeeper " Cos Its bloody Christmas, Pillock" sayeth the Innkeeper, " Tell ee wot, kick the cow out and kip in the stable" sayeth the Innkeeper, " I'll do it half price" "Done" sayeth Joseph "You certainly have bin mate" quoth the innkeeper.

One important difference is that the Bible contains its own historical context while the Qur'an doesn't . The Qur'an ONLY contains the words revealed to Muhammad by God through the archangel Gabriel. It doesn't give any "backstory."

As such, if you want to read AND understand the Qur'an, you MUST also read a biography of Muhammad so you understand what is happening as the Qur'an. The Qur'an was revealed over a period of several decades, so there are a lot of events that happen in the meantime. The Qur'an mentions a lot of these events, but doesn't explain them. Read a biography and it makes a lot more sense.

The Bible claims Jesus to be the Son of God, the god-man who sacrificed His life on the Cross for our salvation.
The Koran claims that the Bible is God's corrupted word. Jesus was just a prophet, and the writers of the Gospels lied. As to how that squares with their claim that the 'injeels', or Gospels, ARE God's Word, well, that one is beyond me. And apparently beyond most muslims, too.

We all connect to the same Divine Creator and all of the holy books have the same spiritual energy running through them.

The only difference is that Christianity is the only one that believes that Christ died to save us and it is only through believing in him that we are saved.

Okay, Abraham had two sons. Ishmael (born of Sarah's hand maid Hagar) and Issac (born of Sarah). Sarah demanded that Hagar and Ishmael be cast away into the desert. The Bible is based on Abram's son Isaac. The Koran is based off of Ishmael.
