This should be done when you go to bed and sleep with it in...

All you have to do is...
1.Part your hair at the side
2.Brush the hair around your head and put bobby pins every in inch you go plus when needed
3.When you wrapped it around once the extra hair should be wrapped around something big and round , you can use a toilet paper roll.. works good... but if u don't have that then use a big roller
4. Secure every inch of hair that goes by when wrapping around roller
5. Wrap whole head with bandanna or some kind of cloth to protect from frizz.
6. The next morning just take everything out and flip hair up and down , brush , style as desired and you got it... STRAIGHT HAIR!!

Setting lotion and big enormous hair curlers - sit under warm dryer and let cool then take down and comb. That is how we did it to straighten out hair in the 70's. Also, we spritzed out hair with water mist and ironed our hair on the ironing board with the clothes iron.

When you say straightener what do you mean? You can use straighting irons and the protective products that go along or you can get a chemical straightener done. It depends on how much and how often you want to spend.

One way to do it without any tools at all would be to brush it or comb it out and then twist it into a bun before you sleep. When you undo it in the morning, it should be smooth (it won't be perfectly straight).
