I am a Baha'i (that's how it's spelled; may help with searching for info). There is a lot of introductory info out there on the web. Try http://www.bahai.org There's another post somewhere on here where I clear up some misconceptions.
Baha'is are not pacifists. We don't believe violence is the answer to the majority of the conflicts out there, but we do believe in the concept of a "just war." We believe in global collective security: basically, if one country acts injustly, the ENTIRE WORLD should rise up and restore order. NOT just one or two countries. Sort of like the theory of the U.N. but much more effective.
No, there is no witchcraft element to the Baha'i Faith.
No, the Baha'i Faith isn't really a variant of Islam, any more than Christianity is a variant of Judaism. We believe the Baha'i Faith is God's "next step" for us after Islam. God sent us another Messenger after Muhammad to carry humanity to the next step in it's spiritual journey.
The concept is called "progressive revelation" and many religions believe in the idea even if they don't call it that. We believe that when the time is right, God sends us a divine message, though a special Person. Moses was one, Jesus was one, the Buddha, Jesus Christ, Baha'u'llah. These Messengers go back to before recorded time and will continue into the future.
I could go on all day, but if you really want to know, check out http://www.bahai.org

The ones I talked to seemed to think they were encompassing all religions under one tent. Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hindu, Buddhism, and Paganism all are accepted by them as paths to truth.

Don't quote me on this but I was told that it is a religion that is very into spirituality, nature and even a bit of witch craft when taken to it's fullest potential. It scares me too much to look into it any further.
I'm not trying to offend anyone, just telling you what I've heard.
