To the Christians yes, to god, and myself no. If you believe otherwise then you would have to believe that god created the gays just so he and all the Christians would have someone to hate.

I don't see anything wrong with it but then I don't know everything. The US catholic church has just released a document stating that homosexuals should be welcomed into the church and that there is nothing wrong with having feelings for one's own sex. They just say you should't act on those feelings. Which begs the question - What are these feelings for?
The old cliche of Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve is flawed and can only be accepted if you accept intelligent design. Which is about as scientific as the notion that gays can be cured. I'm not saying that God could't have created a woman from one of Adam's ribs, but the fossil record tends to indicate otherwise.

I am a christian, i have friends that are gay, and a friend that is bi... Yes it is wrong, not because it is not accepted by the world today but because the Bible teachs that it is wrong... It is stated many times in the Bible that homosexuality is wrong and should not be... Yes there are people that say ohhhh i was born this way, umm no you weren't nobody was born to be gay, that is not the plan that God has in store for them... Even one of the friends that i have tells me that he was born that way that he was born to be with men, but that yeah he doesn't believe that it is right and that he knows that God disaproves of it... So if he understands that it's wrong then how could he have been born that way? And even he can't answer that question... Anyways the point is, it's wrong regardless, the Bible is not wrong and the Bible does not lie... It's God's word..

Ask the man who battled with homosexuality all his adult life. A man who tried many different avenues of faith and gave himself entirely to Jesus in hopes of being "cured." A man who founded a church with over 14,000 members and preached against the "evil within himself" for years.
A man who got busted with a male prostitute.
Yes, I'm referring to the Christian hero, Ted Haggard. Ask yourself this: if God and/or Jesus can "cure" the "gay disease" and chose not to for one of his most pious followers, what chance does your average dyke have?
Blacks were segregated in the 50's in hopes that if we all made them act white enough that they would actually TURN white! That didn't happen, and the whole anti-gay thing will be the same way.
The real question is if the hatemongers will learn from the black movement and just start accepting homosexuals as real people instead of continuing this silly religious inquisition.

The best solution would be that the Amish have it right. Man only needs a certain amount of education and after a certain point continued education can interfere with Faith. Advanced medicine only makes us question the dogmas handed down from thousands of years ago. I see nothing wrong with a person being gay. I do see something wrong with someone who is bisexual. I'm not sure why, but that's how I feel.

God gives everyone free will. But there are laws of nature that will act. The reason some people are Gay is generally due to abuse like you said or a previous life situation. What ever ones consciousness is at the time of death is what they attain. If a woman thinks of a man at the time of death she becomes a man in her next life due to karma. But if she was very attached to the previous liefs mental state. ( extreme attraction to men) Even though now in a mans body will have attraction to men. Though according to the scriptures one is not supposed to act on it. There are many things we are not supposed to act on because they bind one to the material illusion which makes us believe we are these bodies. We are not these bodlies we are spirit and our only purpose as humans is to realize our constitutional position. If it were genetic, how do gay men carry on their lineage? There may be valid reasons (same argument can be said for murderers and pedophiles) but there is NO proof that being gay is genetic. There is however much medical proof that this is a very dangerous lifestyle with some serious repercussions. Nobody with common sense would tell you that things should be going UP your rectum.

Interesting...however, you are obviously not homosexual.
Homosexuality is not genetic. It does not occur due to abuse.
God made each man and woman on this earth, and He made homosexuality. A gay man or a lesbian is not gay by choice--that's how they were wired.
They are God's children--they are perfect in His eyes. It's sad that Christians today can't seem to grip this fact.
The medical community has NOT proven anything about homosexuality. Free will means have the ability to decide anything--lie or be honest.

Show us the proof.
Oh, and by the way, if I were abused as a child and that stripped my psychological gears so that I became a serial killer, would I be justified?
What would you do if science "proves" that pedophiles have a genetic disorder that causes them to molest your children, would you excuse their behavior? THINK ABOUT IT!

Being gay is not an alternative. It's not a choice. It's not the result of sexual abuse or being forced to wear a dress as a child. It's a perfectly natural state for some, just as being straight is for others. If one is born gay, one is gay. Nothing wrong with it except in the minds of those who choose to perpetuate ancient prejudices.
