what do i do?? she's out in the garage. we have her foot iced and it's elevated. my dad is gonna be home in a little bit but i dont know what to do in the mean time. she seems like she's in a lot of pain.

we gave her Tylenol. the bone didnt break her skin but you can see where it broke. there's alot of swelling.

Either call 911, or is you want to wait for your Dad, put an ice pack on it to keep the swelling down. Give her some Tylenol or something similar. If its a bad break with the bone sticking out of the skin I really would call 911.

it really should be xrayed. if the foot is broken, ice elevation and compression will be helpful along with anti inflammatory or pain medicine. you can go to a great website that will be very helpful in answering your questions, myfootshop.com. use the source as a direct link to the site.

First of all my deepest sympathy to your mom. Secondly I would hate to be near you if I broke somethin cuz instead of running to the phone to call 911 you did the unthinkable... you ran to the computer and asked the world what you should do!! very funny!! but again sorry for your mom : (

You've done pretty much all there is to do. Unless you see blood under the skin and then take her to the hospital immediately.
