Really good (and I hope that is what you are going to go to) tattoo parlors can go from any picture you bring them, copy it and go from there. I had a pix of a Jimmy Buffett parrot, they copied it on a copier and then traced it on my back, color was added to match the original pix after outline was done...IF THE PARLOR YOU ARE GOING TO GO TO CANNOT DO THIS,,,DO NOT USE THEM. Any reputable tatt artist knows how to do this, even most of the really good freelance ones. Make sure the parlor is clean and only uses fresh ink with each customer. Find the pix and take it to one or design your own...I did, and my daughter did. Take care and please take care of your tatt after...it will be there forever. So choose the design carefully, and the artist and parlor EVEN MORE CAREFULLY.

Do your research!!!! If you want this tattoo - then put work into it! Only you know what you like and what you want. If your not 100% sure yet of want you want and you get it done in a few weeks, then your not ready to get one. Alot of thought should be put into what you want. If you do have some idea - then go in and talk to your tattoo artist - bring in some reference and they can always draw something up that will be just for you!

Well, random searches online might led the one you like, but you could just go down to the tattoo shop and explain exactly what you want. As soon as they finished a rough draft, you can go over any changes you would make. If you have any artistic friends you can do this with them as well. Good luck!

go to an artist, that tattoos. that way you'll have a unique tattoo design that 1,000 other people don't already have. and they can customize it for you, if you want specific things (which you obviously do, because you haven't found what you want yet) i suggest going to a tattoo convention. there will be a wide variety of artists in one place. you can look at portfolios of many artists before making a decision. good luck!
