Death is part and parcel of life .Nothing more and nothing less.It is part of the cycle.Why should I mourn it in myself or anyone else?

I fone thinks in terms other than themselves ,acceptance is easy.Mourning is selfishness expressed

I agree with you 100%, apart from the god bit.

Without death, there can be no life. I still mourn for those who are no longer part of my life though, but do I mourn for them or me?

Well there is still mourning going on. I lost a big beautiful tree last month and I miss it. I can't replace it.

I don't think anybody forces people to mourn. If you want to do it then fine, if you don't want to do it then fine.
