He has moved on, with another girl. It's obvious he doesnt think or care about me any more, but why do I still care? Its been almost 4months ago.

baby girl, 4 months is not that long. eventually, your feeling for him will deminish, just give it more time. in the mean while, keep yourself occupy with something. do things for yourself, maybe join a gym to better yourself. once your mind is busy with something else, the memories of him, will only be a part of your history.

You need a cleansing hon. I bet you have saved photos and little junk that means something to this relationship, right? Well, there is a sort of ceremony some women perform to exorcize a man from their heart and soul when it is over...and especially if the man is with someone new.
Gather EVERY picture you have of the two of you together, and EVERY photo of him you saved. Get all the stubs from movies, valentine cards, love notes. Get that silly stuffed animal he bought you. And get a nice metal garbage can. Put it somewhere in the yard where there is nothing that can set on fire from flames rising and traveling. Then tear the living dailights out of all this stuff. Rip it all to hell. Tear that stuffed thing apart with your bare hands until stuffing flies into the can. Then get some lighter fluid, throw it on top of all this mess and throw a lit match in. Watch the flames.
Now do not under any circumstances throw good jewelry into the can. Take that to a pawn shop and sell it for whatever they are willing to give you for it, even if it is only enough to buy a burger from the dollar menu. If it is junk jewelry, throw that out. It won't burn.
Trust me hon, this really works well. You remove the memories from your home; thus making it easier to not think of him. Then...
stand up straight and tall. Remember there is a damn good reason you put his butt to the curb to begin with, and walk away, grateful you can start all over again. Don't you dare remember the good times. Only remember the bad stuff if you get lonely or heartsick. This too will pass. And you will be glad he is gone eventually. You are better than all this stuff. And you can have a wonderful relationship with a great guy who appreciates the goddess you really are.
I will be pulling for you to do well dear. Don't worry.

Tell yourself to look forward to the future. There's a great guy out there for you that you havent found yet. It takes some time to fall out of love with someone, but you need to talk yourself out of him. If he already has another girl, why should you care? He's not trying to hurt your feelings, but since you two already broke up then your through.

i dont know you .. obviously... but sometime it takes more time to heal... may be 4 months is not enough... and getting someone right now doesnt make you ready to handle another relationship... then it looks like you're trying to fill a void by replacing it with someone ... u'll be using thar person... which doesnt bring out good results.... i say you take your time to heal... yes it hurts to see him with someone else ... but time do heal... trust on me that... and one thing ... you will never forget about him.... cuz you loved him....(that is if you really REALLY loved him) he'll always be apart of you ... you will definitely know when you have completely moved on.... things that makes that hard hit in your heart when you see him... wont bother you as much... all them things that are keeping you from moving one.. will decrease....

My wife left me 8 months ago, & I'm still going through it, so I know what you mean.
It just takes time, & keep busy, be with other people who are good to be around.

Cut off contact with him. The more you talk to him, even if you convince yourself you CAN be JUST friends, the longer it's going to take you to get over it.
