I recently split up from my g/f (which strangely enough was quite amicable and mutual) and I am a type of person who isn't comfortable being single for too long ((i generally get very lonely and depressed))
I do not like clubbing, so i dont consider this a right way of finding someone (why would i want to meet somewho who does if i dont?)
I do not do 'internet dating' so no one suggest any web sites for that, it really isn't my thing ((and will be reported as abuse))
I'm self employed, so work is out of the question...
So, i'm really open to suggestions here... or offers... lol j/k

You must have an intrest outside of work, so join a local club or group and take it from there. Also, they say that the local supermarket is a place to bump into people.

Or you could try family reunions, if you're a redneck.
How about at the gym. Sweaty girls in skimpy clothes.
Then there is always becoming socially active, taking classes, going to discussion forums. Look around there are women everywhere. Go do what you like to do and when you see someone doing the same thing, you might have something in common.

Church, the grocery store, join a club, volunteer...use your imagination...and it's always best to give yourself some time before you jumpinto another one, so i'd get a bottle of ky and keep your hand in shape for a few months. Need any help, let me know

Just get out of the house. Know any friends that have single friends. Thats what I did I'm now dating my Bro-In Laws friend. I hate being single too, just doen't feel right.

yes try the methodist leauge, you'll love them you will find a partner who will refrain from sex on the lords whim not yours!. and if that fails you could always slam your meat in the fridge, (at least the fridge does'nt burp).
but women do like succesful men especially self employed window cleaners. the world is your oyster.

You can meet with friends, and you can meet more of thier friends. I once worked in this coffee shop were loads of regulars came in and people actually hooked up.
