So try out for wrestling and see how much they want to laugh at you in a year or so.
If your heart is set on volleyball, then set your goals and stick with them. Practice, practice, practice. Go to the practices even if you aren't on the team and learn from them. The coach will notice your dedication. Good luck!

If some kids are on the team but did not go to the tryouts then that sounds fishy ask the coach NICELY if you were good enough then what happened. If others laugh at you then its their problems you sound young don't worry too much it will pass if you are that good then there are club volleyball teams go join one of them
Good Luck

Well seriously i wouldnt care you should just show it doesnt bother you and not care what they have to say. least you went and tryed out for something. so just keep your head held high and just work hard and try out for something else. i mean volleyball is not the only sport out there. if you really want to make them made you should really pratice hard and find a select team ask the coach for help to make the team and do everything you can to make the team and shove it there faces. they wouldnt like it if they didnt make the a team so dont let them get the best of you.

You should go to the coach and flat out ask why you didn't make the team. Don't sound snobby or your volleyball with that coach may be ended for good and word spreads like fire my friend. Ask the coach what you can to improve because most coaches love giving advice. Make sure you actually listen to the coaches advice because come next try-outs when they see how much you've improved they'll be that much more impressed.

I stay in Northern California and that i our extreme faculties have boys volleyball, as does Southern California. the sport is finally getting the popularity it merits as a boys sport. the two one in all my sons play and function performed for their entire extreme college occupation. there is likewise club volleyball. perchance you are able to verify the internet to locate a club volleyball league the place you reside. i think of that is unhappy that colleges do no longer grant it. verify alongside with your athletic consultant and locate out concerning to the league that are available for different activities and perchance you and different such as you are able to petition to start boys volleyball. If there are adequate human beings involved, it may desire to take place. i admire boys volleyball! It has only as plenty excitement as ladies, devoid of the teeny tiny spandex shorts. wish that is beneficial!

Just practice and join a traveling club team. If you didn't make the school team, when you're well trained, you'll whoop a**
