I once came across a site that listed legitimate charities. It gave operating expenses, presidents annual salary, how much actually went to the charity. Any help? Thanks.

The Charity Navigator (which was mentioned already) is a good start. Also try some of the finance magazines like Money and Kiplingers. They rate each charity by amount spent on admin vs the actual charity purposes.

That would be great, except for one thing. Yahoo makes no money on YA. It is a very small piece of their properties and the staff have been reduced to cover expenses. A better alternative would be for each user to donate based on their point level. With each user donating just $1 per month, that is up to $24 million per month.
