Don't laugh. Just stare at them.

It's not witty, but it will make for some really awkward fun! And they probably won't bring it up again.

I am not sure what "ear gauges" are. Maybe piercings? I am out of the loop.

Anyway, you're getting a hard time about your ear gauges. Well, I guess you can say what my husband says when he hears an opinion he doesn't like "I'll give that comment all the consideration it so richly deserves." (that's sarcasm for you!)

Also, you can say "I am an adult. What I choose to do with my life is frankly, none of your business."

Or, you can say "Thanks for the comments" and walk away.

You can also "play" with them. Say "Hey, I think you would look great with an ear gauge. Let me give you my man's business card. Tell them I sent you. He'll give you a great deal!"

I hope you can brush off these comments. There are worse things people can say to you. I know it can be hurtful and seem mean. You have to please yourself, not others. Soldier on! :)

in the journey that they did not mean to disillusioned you, then telling them that what they reported isn't cool with you may artwork. have you ever informed them that what they say upsets you? in the journey that they save putting forward mean issues when you talked to them about preventing it, then you might want to take between the retorts people have already given you and use it.now and again that prevents them, although now and again they'll purely get right into a contest with you about who can say the meanest ingredient. or you may want to ignore them. in the journey that they are doing it to get an develop out of you, then snicker it off or purely save on doing what you've been doing.

Ignore them for a moment, then look at them blandly and say: "What? Sorry, I can't hear you....I've got these ear gauges".

What are ear guages? Like a piercing I guess, what else can you do with an ear? Anyway, if they ridicule or tease you, tell them that you don't remember asking their opinion, but thanks anyway.
