Is there a way to find out how much someone made last year on the internet?

I was curious if peoples tax returns are public record, and if so is there a government(or other) web site that alows you to access this information?

Some politicians release their tax returns. Other than that, it is illegal to give out information from tax returns.

No, they are not public record. There is no way to find out without their permission.

Celebrities incomes are on the internet. Bill Gates, Oprah, Donald Trump, etc.

The rest of us have incomes you wouldn't care to read about!
