I really like this guy at school but I can't help but to be really shy whenever I'm around him... what can I do to catch his eye that doesn't make it too obvious that I like him

Make eye contact, then BLUSH.
When he comes over...Invite him to go out w/you & your friends....very nonchalant.

All i can say is, keep on looking at him, hell obviously know if he catches you but look away straight away and soon if you catch him looking at you too youll know taht he likes you too! so kinda works both ways i ges!

Talk to him slowly. Don't be afraid. Get to know his friends and then get to know him. Talk to him about school or anything. Slowly you will break your shy-ness. Just really be yourself around him. Hoped I helped. ROCK ON!!

Ask him for help with something in class... Whatever mutual class you have with him, ask for help. If he says he cant help you because he doesnt know anything either, then he is a loser who doesnt study and isnt worth your time. Move on.
