It is just something that you will understand more when you have you own children. But if you look at the world and I mean the big picture you will see that bad things happen to young people everyday, all week long, month after month and year after year. Young people sometimes don't see it coming until it's too late. Many will unfortunately die in car crashes, get injured, robbed and/or raped. Many will lose arms and legs or become paralyzed. The list of bad things that can happen to you is way to large print here but like I said look at the big picture of the world. No Parent wants to lose a child. Believe me it's just a horrible thing. We have to let our children grow and become individuals but we do know all the hidden pitfalls out there and so that is why we worry so much not worry too much.

Because it's naturally a parents job to worry. And that's something that only a parent truely understands.
And parents worry because they care about their kids and theres a million things out in the world that could harm them.

Parents do worry too much but, it is because we love our kids so much. We want the best for them and we don't want anything to happen to them.

to me it seemed like my parents worry too much and now i am a parent and i worry just like they did and now i dont think it is too much. all about perspective. if your family worries about you then it means they love you

Because they remember what sort of things they did when they were your age, and naturally want to protect you from the risks, dangers and mistakes they made. They want you to do better, have a better life, do the things they never could. Basically they live on through you as you will through your children, you may be freaked out by this but in time you'll understand.

I worry, because my mother and father were bad parents and I want to do better for my children by making sure they are okay. What precautions I need to take, and so on.

parents worry. parents worry more when you and they dont agree. if you and they dont agree they usually have a past experience which makes them worry about choices their kids make which could be similar or worse then they made

because they are worried if their children is safe or not. or if their daughters arent getting raped or pregnant. and because they are just parents they just worry about their childrens safety.

because we are parents and responsible for another human being......i worry heaps....the decisions we make today determines who are children become tomorrow....
