...how do u get each page automatically numbered (at the bottom)?

Insert menu -> Page Numbers...

Top toolbar > View> Headers and Footers
Then you can format page number etc
The page number icon is 2nd or 3rd from the left and has a sign similiar to #

click View
choose Header and Footer
you will get a Header/Footer toolbar

click the icon to "switch between header and footer" -- 3rd from the right.
you will be in the footer.

set a right tab
tab to the tab you just set
click the "insert page number" icon (1st on the toolbar)
click Close.

Go to view
click on header footer
scroll down to the end of the page
double click
You should have a header footer toolbar floating around
click on insert autotext
choose page
