We like to match socks with the clothes/shoes they wear. For example I will not let them wear white socks with dress shoes.

Black athletic sometimes with shorts as it looks nice sometimes, but not long or pattern ones.

I'm going to let my future children wear whatever color socks they want. Allowing children to pick out there own socks gives them independents and a safe freedom. I personally think black socks should be worn with black dress shoes and white socks with white dress shoes, though.

Usually white socks with casual wear. Matching socks for special outfits and dress socks that match the outfit. Why in the world would you ask THIS question.

She wears mostly white socks with colored trim to match the outfit. If she's "dressy" she usually wears white or colored tights. Last winter I had a heck of a time finding black socks to wear with her black shoes (I didn't want to buy a bunch of boyish colors in the multi-packs.)

Any of them that have a dark or grey bottom. If he's wearing shorts only white socks or short socks...never black or patterned ones.

Until my daughter was 7 years old she wouldn't wear two socks the same color. Quite often her shoes didn't match either. She has grown into a very happy healthy adult who knows her own mind and won't let anyone dictate how her life will be run.

Dress socks (black, blue, or tan) with dress clothes.
Call me a "fashion freak" but I just feel that's the way it's "supposed" to be.

He has white socks, they are the only ones I can find for his big feet. My daughter wears colorful socks, like whatever colour she is wearing the socks match. like yellow with yellow, pink with pink

mostly white socks, but I too will coordinate their socks with their outfit. No athletic socks with dress shoes! definately not!
