I have the same dilemma. I've been told to drop all starches (bread, potatoes, etc.) and all refined sugar (pre-packaged baked goods). I actually weigh 194. Email me in April and we'll see who lost the most.

I went to Weight Watchers several ago and lost 46 lbs. in 5 or 6 months. I started at 156 lbs. and got down to 110 lbs. I highly recommend their plan because you can eat whatever you want as long as you stay in your daily points range. You are allotted 35 extra points for the week that I usually save for special occasions or going out to eat. Try to find a friend to join with you. It helps to have that person because you know you are accountable. This is the only plan that has ever worked for me because I never felt restricted. We have a lady at our meetings who's diabetic and was on 50 units on insulin when she started. She has now lost over 50 lbs. and the doctor just told her she could come off the insulin!

Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. Get latest info like American Heart Association does not want you to eat more than 6 ounces daily of meat, fish or poultry. i don't think of you'll lose lots because quicker or later your body receives used to the workout you imposed and also you'll stop dropping weight. What I do is element administration, and that i began ingesting 5 small nutrients an afternoon. so a techniques (i began very last week) i have lost round 5lbs. i'm aiming to lose somewhat extra because I have a ballet performance and a wedding ceremony in would. i'm not overweight (my BMI is round 20-some thing) yet I do want to lose somewhat weight and that i fairly love my new 'weight-relief plan'! eat no more than 2,000 calories a day, the daily requirement 4 an adult woman.
don't know the calories in it, don't eat it.
cut out all alcohol & meat or have at least 3-4 vegetarian meals a week.
the weight will soon drop off.
remember u r wot u eat and u'll b fine.

Hi Gemma,
Im a natural health practitioner, Im sure what im about to tell you your Dr. wont tell you cause they have closed off the communication about natural health, but basicaly without knowing any other aspects of your health, the reason you cant lose weight is casue YOUR BODY NEEDS THE FAT.
Let me explain.
The body is dominated by 2 chemicals, alkaline and acid, whern the acid takes over for a considerable length of time the body now produces mucus, the same icky yellowy stuff we have when we deal with head colds, the reason is that the acid we consume via canned and processed foods or foods that convert into acid in your body, toxic medicines, untreated stress and other factors, these acids have the ability to damage the membranes of your nerves and tissues, therefore the body as a defense mechanism engulfs the acid/toxins with the mucus and in a body with the proper PH balance, it expulses it form the body and no problem.
However in a body out of PH balance, resulting in candida and anaerobic enviroment, as I suspect your in, the mucus now begins to accumulate in the inner wall of the intestines, tissues, joints, lungs, cells and inner organs so now the body has to produce EXTRA FAT CELLS to engulf the mucus and protect the organs from damage.
So in one sense the extra fat cells are actualy saving your life, however the negative result is the weigh that wont come off cause your are constantly over acid. That is why it makes sense to eat foods high in alkaline and that way your body wont need to make mucus or fat cells to protect you.

Creo que cuando llegamos a cierta edad, todos hemos pasado alguna vez por tu mismo problema. Los hongos son una molestia y un auténtico asco, y lo último que debemos hacer es dejarlos campar a sus anchas y no tratarlos en cuanto podamos (tampoco creo que quieras dejarlos, teniendo en cuenta lo mucho que molestan).
Una amiga mía me pasó esto hace un par de meses, y lo guardé en Favoritos por si alguien más lo necesitaba, ya que es muy efectivo.
Ya verás cómo en poco tiempo te libras de los hongos y de todos esos feos problemas.
