This guy is your best friend. So he knows you better than anyone. If he sees you as a good person, respectful of women in the past and can be in a committed relationship. Than he should be cool with it eventually.
Yeah, he's probably going to be freaked at first. I would you want to see your sister macking with your best friend. He may also be concerned that if doesn't work out between you and his sister. That you won't want to hang out as much anymore.
Test the water. Tell him how much you like her. He's going to have to accept it eventually.

Tell him the truth. Schedule a time for you two to sit alone and talk. Tell him you have something important to share with him and that you are very afraid but you are looking for his support. Who know's maybe he would be happy that you love his sister and that he'll be happy it's you with her and not some joe schmoe. Be careful though, he is likely to be watchful of how things go too. After all that is his sister and he doesn't want to see her hurt by anyone. If it all works out just remember that you can't bring him in the middle of difficulties as it will hurt all the relationships.

Red Devil Mike. If you are a genuine and respectful person. I am sure the brother would not care. Since you two are best friends I am sure he'll prefer you going out with her sister than some other guy he doesn't know much about.
You shouldn't flat out tell him that you are in love with his sister, maybe you should ask him how would he feel if you two go out and promise him that you will treat her right.

Sounds like maybe your best friend might be overprotective of his sister. I am sure if you just came right out and told him that you and his sister are seeing each other he would be happy for the two of you. He knows how you are and would probably be much happier that it is you that is dating his sister than some other guy.

I say just tell him. if he is really ur best friend then he will b k w/ it. sure, he will b a little shocked at first when u come over 2 hang w/ his sis and nt him 4 a change but if hes really a good friend he will b happy 4 u, no matter who the girl is! good luck!

Your best friend has to have some inkling that you like each other. It isn't like you like his girlfriend. That would be different. If you respect his sister and treat her well. Get to know her slowly, I see no problem with it. Tell him the truth. Tell him you have feelings for her. I am sure he would rather see someone like his best friend like her than some jerky guy. Treat her with respect. If you two have arguments, don't go between each other. You should be OK.

Go for it and tell him that's the only way to really find out how he will react. Your his best friend so just think ..he won't have to worry about his sister because he already knows you!! My son's best friend is now my daughters boy friend it's been that way for about 8 months and all is cool!!

well if hes your best friend he will want you to b happy, that is if hes a good friend, which i bet he is. Also brothers want the best for their sisters and he can oviously trust you but if he finds out b 4 u tell him then he mite loose a lil bit of trust twords u so jus get up sum balls and tell him

If he really is ur best friend he will understand. He might be on u a little more when ur around other girls but other then tat he'll be normal. U should just tell him its better tat he finds out by u then someone else.

So, if he's your best, best friend and you think he would object to the way you feel about his sister, then you must be leaving something out. After all, wouldn't he be happy for you and his sister if there wasn't more to it? Are you or have you been a jerk with girls? Is his sister young? Does he think you'll force her to have sex with you?
