I'll give you a hint....it ends in an "O". And, it's usually short and stupid.

All of those 300 million are legal citizens. They don't send their money to family in Mexico they keep it here and they are more likely to work for companies with benefits and not be a drain on medicaid programs that were designed to help poor Americans and not other nationalities. But I am glad that we treat all the sick people but it is a strain. Also keep in mind that a lot of the 300 million you mention are from Mexican decent or legal.
People should not be streaming across our borders in this time where terrorism is such a threat. Our borders need to be secure.
No I don't think the fence will work but something has to be done about our more than porous borders.
More importantly what about how these coyotes treat people and sometimes force women into prostitution by demanding more money upon arrival. I think people who are enslaving people like that should face very harsh punishment. Like life in prison and death penalty when a death happens like all those people that suffocated in that truck the guy didn't turn refrig on.
There is more to it than bigotry because I can honestly say I've never met a Mexican legal or otherwise that I was afraid to have in my community. All the ones I've met just want a better life and that is fine but they need to be legal to come. I hope the ones here get amnesty but we have to close our borders.

Your impied point is irrelevant. The straining of resources and risk to security arguments are supporting premises of the contention that illegal immigrants should not be here, which is an argument that stands on its own as a matter of compliance with the law. They are not intended as part of a comparitive argument, and don't need to be supported on that ground. The relevance is in the respective status of the two groups, whereas one is lawfully present and the other isn't, consequences from the latter group's presence matters more, for some consequences from the former group are inherent but legal if resulting from the exercise of the rights of their citizenship. You're distorting the argument.

To be clear, while one side may or may not be more straining than the other, such a strain is more justified by legal citizens, and, again, the argument is being distorted.

the 20 million that don't pay taxes, that don't give to the system that they take from.

let me take 5 cents of every single dollar you make and then after time see how you feel for me taking it yet not doing one damn thing in return. see how long you'll continue to give me that money. no different.

mexicans keep pulling this race card or other issues to by pass the real issue....you are hear illegal, period.

the way you all word it is like this......ok...I shot a man and killed him...but since then I have done a good job at work, I cleaned up my neighbors yard and I took my kids to school....so because of those items the murder I did can't be charged against me.

A LAW IS A LAW IS A LAW IS A LAW....to break one, any one, IS AGAINST THE LAW.

There are a lot more than 20 million 'Mexicans'. Honestly, how racist.

The 20 million illegal immigrants are the biggest strain on the United States of America.

You will notice that I did not say Mexicans because all of the 20 million are not Mexican. They may make up the vast majority of the illegals but they are not the only illlegals the U.S. has to worry about.

neither, do not forget that the 300 million americans do contribute to their own economy, the same as do the 20 millions mexicans. but i see your point, it is much easier for the government to instigate a "fear", or "resentment" culture against the mexicans than to try and sort out the mess it has created. blame someone else culture

You are the biggest strain on America.
There shouldn't be any Mexicans in America- unless they are here on holiday or a work visa- If they are here in America and wish to reside here permanently they can call themselves Americans and conduct themselves as such or get the h*ll out.
