Believe it or not, some girls try too hard at being sexy. Overacting. It comes off as fake and as false, and to me that's a turn-off. I'd rather date a girl who was a mate, as in ship's mate, a fellow traveller, a peer, someone to trade jokes and gripes with. Beauty is a good thing, of course, but I'd give up two or three points on the one-to-ten scale to get the mate rather than the shallow temptress.

I would rather be with a '7 or 8' that was smart, fun and sexy than a '10' that was boring.

Having good looks goes right along with being sexy...However, if you have an exceptional personality, it will offset your looks and can work as a big plus...I have dated girls that were not so gorgeous.....but the ones that had that certain charm could could do wonders......Its how you dress and what you do with what you have !!!!....

yes it does. being sexy is also a key to getting a guys attention, only he is likely going to make you his sex object.

class, sass, and a little trash are turn on's too. If you are comfortable and confident inside your own skin then we sense that and can be attracted to the ugly betty too.

guys are very visual! so looks are very important, but to be honest here, a great personality can go along way in this department also.
