On the face of it, you'd think - well all tasks. But many tasks you can do whilst thinking about something else. Walking, riding a bike, doing the washing up, all examples requiring dexterity but essentially can all be done subconsciously. To put the question another way, will all tasks be able to be done by software in the future?

No activity can be performed without the presence of consciousness, even activities performed on a sub-conscious level, as the term implies requires consciousness, without consciousness the corporeal body is dead or lifeless and starts to dissolve back into the material elements.

As technology advances, many tasks may be performed by developing software, however this technology will always require the interaction from a conscious entity, technology cannot produce consciousness.

Consciousness is non-material and is a symptom of the spirit soul that pervades the material body providing activity within the gross material body and subtle mind, empirical science cannot produce consciousness from matter because the spirit soul is the original element and can be covered by the material energy but never contaminated by it.

Very interesting question. While there are many thigns we can do without thinking about it, if we delegated these tasks to robots, machines or software, we would probably not be as healthy and would likely die quicker.

All these activities promote health in one way or another, and if we did not actively do them ourselves, since exercise is thought to help our memory, would we even remember to program the machine to do them for us

As the software of the future probably was originated from software that someone programmed, all the software represents is applied thinking. Thinking and communicating is what we need consciousness for.

How about spiritual healing (shanmanism/exorcism) - ie the channeling of divine energy through the healer's bady as a conduit for the purposes of removing low vibrational energy in another person.

I dont believe that this can be replaced by computer
