Not crack babies, but bastards of a sort. Illegitimate citizens. I am not blaming them or trying to call them bad names, though, because the parents are at fault. Our leaders are also at fault for their interpretations of our laws and permitting this kind of thing to happen. We should stop this now to avoid more confusion about citizenship in the future. You are what your parents are. Illegally crossing a border should not change that.

I feel sorry for both. I'm always hearing about moms, if you can call them that, who risked there lives and pregnancy to come here and have a baby so they can stay. The walk across the desert, hole up in shacks and wait for labor. My husband has found them in railcars. Those railcars get to hundreds of degrees. Why would someone deliberately put their baby in jeopardy so they can have a free ticket here? Don't you find that sad?
Why is this not child abuse?
If it doesn't tug your heart strings, it's tugging on your wallet- because as citizens, those babies can get Medacaid, and whatever problems they are born with or develop later in life, your paying for- enjoy.
