Hoover Wind tunnel. I got mine at Costco for about $200, which may sound like a lot, but it was rated the best vacuum the last two years by Consumer Reports, and it has all the same features/functions as vacuums that cost hundreds more. It was ranked better than Dysons and Bissels, EVERYTHING since it was number one on the list.

It has 100% HEPA filtration system to remove all allergens, an upholstery attachment along with the regular brushes and hose extensions, it's self-propelled (VERY COOL), has an embedded dirt finder to tell you where you need to spend a little extra time vacuuming....it's AWESOME. I love mine.

Here's a website...

Note: If trapping 100% of allergens is important to you, make sure you get this one which has a bag (and comes with 3-4 extras). The bagless vacuums aren't as good at trapping the dust, etc.

The best "low priced" vaccum is the Euro-Pro Infinity HEPA(200-250), the only thing better is a Dyson(400- 600).
