have a Fox Terrier/Chaihuhiaha, (Sorry, I can't spell it) named Ginger. She prevousley turned three, in march and just yesterday I was rubbing her belly to see her **** were swollen. They were big and round. She is also acing more playful, and happy. We've had her since she was a puppy, and she has also gainned wait. She has gained, my guess atleast 8 or so pounds. So whast wrong? Do you have any advice or expernice with this?
Thanks, and, incase your wondering she was spayed at like 2 1/2 years or so ago.
Thanks!
This is what I posted, and I got three answers, now i'm so SO scared that my little Ginger has cancer! We've already lost her brother by a car, I am NOT willing to give her up till she dies of old age. Please help! Is it cancer? I was told not to panic, but a little to lait for that!

Unfortunately, we cannot diagnose your dog for you. She needs to go to the vet. We can't see your dog, we can't run bloodwork on your dog, we can't feel your dog. Your vet can and will use those tools to make a diagnosis. Speculating here won't accomplish anything except to get you scared. I recommend making the vet appointment and getting off the computer. Any diagnoses that you get here will be nothing more than guesses. There's no need to get yourself upset over a guess that may not even be close to the actual diagnosis. Go outside and play with Ginger and keep your mind off of it until she can get in to the vet. And please, avoid this section as many of the people simply have no idea what they are talking about.

Your dog might be going through what is known as a "False Pregnancy" . Some females, even humans run into this problem. If it was cancer, I wouldn't think she would be playful or happy. I would sooner believe she thinks she is going to have puppies. I am not sure what the vet can do about this, but he can alieve any notion of cancer for you. False pregnancies are common, in all mammals who cannot procreate. So take her to the vet. Get it confirmed, and relax

Relax! It probably isn't cancer. When I got my cats spayed, they gained an enormous amount of weight in about 2 years. Plus, once and awhile their nipples get a little swollen. I'm not sure what causes that, but it usually goes down in a couple of days. If you're still freaking out, take her to the vet to get checked out and reassurance. I'm sure she's just fine! Good luck.

If the areas that you are referring to look different than before and seem swollen, I would recommend that you take Ginger in to visit her vet. Good Luck.

Its basically in recent times that Manny as you suggested combat combatants who're coming off of huge losses and wins that are neglectful Dont get dismay, we would perhaps see percentvs Floyd quickly....... i recognize there is too plenty at stake right here. Take her to the vet. It't the only way to be sure of what is going on. Don't think cancer, it might be something simple and easily solved.

I've never had a dog with cancer, so I don't know the symptoms, but if you are that concerned that she may be sick, you need to bring her to the vet.

Take her to a vet so he can examine her. He will be able to let you know if it is cancer.
