Created in God's image or likeness DOES NOT mean equality. Angels, Jesus, and God Almighty are spirits. But, they are not equal. Even humans are not equal--some are physically or mentally stronger than others, some have authorities over others.
Even the fingers of our hands are not equal. Got the point?

We were God's equals, until adam ate the apple, and we became sinners. God is the absence of evil, and we are definately evil. So, we really aren't even close to being equal to God. I think that's just talking about our physical bodies.

created in his image, not on the same par, the statement doesn't even indicate that being in his image as being the same as him. besides what miracles have you done lately or ever.

Is a baby the exact same as it's parents? Nope.
The potential is there, but we're babies now, and still need our Father.
