Aveeno makes some good lotions and shower gels specifically for sensitive or itchy skin. My daughter has eczema and we use it on her. They have lotions that have no dyes or perfumes.

The best results I have had in resolving eczema depending on the severity is the lotion I use. I ordered Intensive Therapy Oatmeal Lotion and Hand Cream from AVON. I used both creams all over my body and the ezcema patches cleared up. If it is more severe and always it is better to check with a physician. I also used Heavy CREAM from Eucerin.

my son has had eczema since he was 3 months old. He is now 3 1/2, we have lots of creams and ointments from the doctors and over the counter. The best over the counter lotion I have found that helps him is CerVae. It is hard to find but I have found it at CVS, RiteAid, and Walgreens. It comes in a cleanser, lotion, and cream. Hope this helps.

By far, the absolute best, gentlest, most healing soap is
Dr. Bronner's Lavender Pure-Castile Soap. My son has eczema, and we heard about it from a friend. Now our whole family uses it. It will not cure your skin, but it will provide much soothing relief, and it is made with all natural ingredients. I can personally guarantee that there will be a noticeable difference after only one use. My son's skin is usually really rough when you rub it, but after his first bath with the soap, it felt soft and smooth! It took us a little while to get used to it, as it feels different than most soaps I've ever used, but it makes your skin soooooo soft, and it stays that way all day.
You can buy it on-line, or at a health food store. My local grocery store sells it in the health food section. Even if you are not into "natural" products, I can still vouch for it. Please give this soap a chance. It has made such a difference for my son and myself. (By the way, I use it on my face now, and I rarely ever get a pimple. I used to get them quite a bit, so that was sort of a nice side effect :)

Try this site for great body products including shower gel without SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate), which is an ingredient in many soaps that cause many skin problems.

I would try using oatmeal soap. Virgin Olive Oil for lotion. You could also go to one of the Bath and Body shops and purchase one of the essence oils to mix with the olive oil. It is better than the strong smelling perfumes.

You can find ones with no soap. They lather, clean and soften well. The ingredient you will look for is glycerin.

I tried everything, so has my daughter, nothing has helped. We both went to "Dove" soap (bar). It works for me. I use" All" in the wash.
