On hand you have Drug E 500 mg per tubex (250 mg/mL). How many mL's a minute should be infused?

I'm sure not a Dr. but it looks like 50 mg / minute of Drug E are needed which (I think) translates to 1/5 of of a ml / min. (.2 ml / min) of what is on hand.

If he wants 250 mg infused over 5 minutes, he wants 50 mg per minute. If each mL has 250 mg, then you have to put 1 mL in over 5 minutes, or 1/5th mL per minute, or .2 mL.

0.2ml/minute - which will mean that 1 ml will be infused in 5 minutes
and as the solution is 250mg/ml the person will get 250mg

0.2ml per minute. just do the math.
