Satan made himself, but why did he allow it? Firstly you can't have joy without sorrow, pleasure without pain, virtue without vice, and so on. Second, we prove our worth by using our free will to choice to be with God or Satan. without Satan there would be only one choice and no free will. Although God didn't want him to fall he knew it would happen for our sakes.

Now, there you go asking logical questions about religion. You will get ridiculous answers to this one. Things like "you must take it on faith" or "humans just can't understand".

If you want to play with the religious aspect of this, try this one: God of course knew what would happen and was OK with it, or, as God, he would not have done it. Since God is perfect and can't make mistakes or do things he doesn't approve of...

He made Satan on purpose and likes it that way.

God make Satan an Angel. His name WAS Lucifer which was like the cheif of all the other Angels. But then one particulary day Lucifer asked God if he can be as powerful as God himself. Lucifer decided to try to defeat God. He got other Angels with him and i think some dragons too. They lost of course. They don't know. But now the Angels that were up in Heaven are with Satana which are called Dark Angels. God knows everything. He wanted to make Lucifer. HE already knew what was going to happen. Now you either pick God, our savior. Or Satan. But you have to do alot more than just love God. Read in the Bible, Pray at night and for food. And especially go to CHurch! LOve God may God bless all of you who beleive!! And those too who don't because we are all God's children and God loves us. Even though humans do alot of bad things. God still loves us. It's just that God doesn't like the sins we commit! So love GOD!! May God bless all of you once again! Amen!

we are god`s creations with a blow from god`s soul within our souls. when we choose it`s because this exact part inside us that belongs to GOD. the soul is not ours that`s why we cannot get the dead back to life . GOD just too back what belongs to him. If it`s so, and god create us to worship him mainly, so there should be a test to identify who will enrich this soul and who would deny this gift. here comes the rule of Satan in life. just like a gold sieve to get the sand out of the filter, You do know what is gold and what is sand but you still have to use a fair tool to keep the meaning of life in every creature.

True God knows and can know everything. However, he also has discretion. That is, he may or may not use his power to know in advance what would happen.

Satan was a perfect angel when he was created. It was but natural for God to trust this angel. No reason for God at all to view him as an enemy.

Sadly, this angel turned traitor against his maker.

According to christian mythology, God didn't make Satan. God made Lucifer, who was an annointed cherub, meaning he was part of Gods divine plan. Lucifer decided that wasn't enough and wanted his own special purpose .. and became the first 'fallen angel'.

Ezekiel 28:15 tells us that God didn't create the evil in Lucifer, and in fact Lucifer was created perfect in all ways ... that he put the imbalance into himself. If God is indeed all perfect and all knowing, then he had to have known what would happen when he created the angel that would choose to war on God.

Can't have it both ways.

Satan was originally an angel; at that time his name was Lucifer. However, he became jealous of God, and wanted to be as great as He was, and so he was cast of of heaven, along with about a third of the angels who chose to follow him. Thus, hell is intended for those fallen angels, but any who are not with Jesus Christ are against Him, so they also, by their own choice, go to hell. God knew exactly what was going to happen. However, He gave us free will that we might truly choose to love and obey Him, instead of simply acting like robots. What true affection can a pre-programed robot give? If we were programed to go around saying to God, "I love you. I love you. I love you." would that be true love? No! Instead, we have the choice to love and obey God, or to follow our own sinful ways. Sin leads to hell, but God provided a way for us to be saved through Christ Jesus. God bless!

God gave the angels and man free will... to do this God had to make the choice to not know everything the person or angel might do. God often limits Himself, just like He didnt create everything there is to create, doesn't heal everything there is to heal, doesnt show all His might all the time... these He does by His own choice.

holy questions batman. lol
can u prove to me satan is evil using the bible? in my opinion innocent until proven guilty and sadly there is no proof that satan is evil in the bible. he is nothing more then a pawn of god, god is using to test faith of his believers. remember satan cannot do anything without gods permission. the bible states that god created evil btw.

Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

What are you referring to that "happened?"

Creating creatures which truly possess free will must allow for those same creatures to do harmful things. But creatures with no freedom or self-determination seems, to me, much worse.

You and I may question God's judgment (that too is part of being free), but the fact of our finite perspective should make that a most circumspect judgment.
