My boyfriend works "corners" during the day. During the night he is in a band and has MANY groupies. I don't know for sure but I think he is sleeping around on me when he isn't "on the job" and that is worrying me a lot. I want to spend my life with him I have 2 kids with him and I couldn't bear to tear our family apart as my mom did to me. What should I do?

Think of the kids, do they want him as a role model...;

If you are for real and this is not a joke posting, then sweetheart you have many more problems than we can solve here.

You already know what you have to do and you want people on here to talk you out of leaving your boyfriend. Well, can't do that. The bad relationship will hurt your kids more than you splitting.

Good luck. I suggest you start planning the split up secretly then when you have all your ducks lines up in a row, leave the b a s t a r d.

I think you should approach him with your concerns, tell him that you think that you both need to spend more quality time together in order to make this work. Accusing him is only going to make him turn on the defense, try to have a constructive conversation and see how you feel based on his answers. Like "so what did you do after work last night you came home kind of late?", "why don't i come to the show with you tomorrow night, and maybe after we can do out for some drinks" or "hey i'd love to come to your rehearsal today, think it might be nice." see what his responses are, if he is adamant question him and see where it goes from there...and well there is always the option of sending in a spy :P

don't ask him because that could offend him, just kind of talk to him. Start off by talking about the band and then tell him that you sometimes have thoughts with him and groupies. Tell him that is only because you love him and you're afraid of losing him. he should understand and he would realize how much it would hurt you.

If you stay, you will never be his number one. Its hard to keep people in that profession, men or women. The chances of what you can catch and since he seems to work for money, someone with some money one day will sweep him off his feet and are you ready to settle for waiting around for him while he is "working" and if one of his clients gives him extra cash for the whole night?? Think about it. Unless your also in the same business, then I guess what goes around, comes around.

You want to have a long-term relationship with someone that sounds abusive?

Each town has a community mental health clinic, where you can talk to someone trained and skilled in assisting with life skills.

do what is best for your children. What you need to ask yourself is if what your mother did made you a better or worse person? If the answer to that question is it made you better then you may need to follow suit.
Your children are your responsibility. If you leave him maybe you will find some one better and more capable of taking care of your needs as well as his children's needs.

i think you should just be honest if anyone gets hurt it should be you. If he is sleeping around, he doesnt have the right to hurt you or ur children.
