Man are you full of questions today or what? Faith is very hard to hold on to when you get educated

One way of ensuring that you never fall from your faith is to allow your faith to be flexible. While a tree which receives no water is ready to be snapped by a strong wind, the tree with plenty of water and is flexible will be blown about but will remain. ALLOW YOURSELF TO QUESTION. If your faith is a prescription written out by a pastor which you must follow to the letter, there's a good chance that you will burnout and have no faith. Allow your faith to change as you learn more.

More time in the word. Read the bible all the way through once a year. Read 5 Psalms a day, read and re-read the New Testament as often as you can. When you can't sleep, read some scripture and talk about it with Jesus. If on the first of the month you read Psalm 1-5, and on the second you read 6-10 and so on, every month you will read the Psalms through. It is the best way I know to get close to God. You can't help it.

here is the deal: life is life. it is unexplicable and uncertain. we can never know why we're here while we're alive, and we can never know what comes after this life, until we get there.

there is no sense in wasting your time feeling guilty about your faith. religion is supposed to make your life EASIER and BETTER, not more difficult or confusing. if you have trouble holding on to your faith, maybe you need to either find a new faith, or reassess why you hold so strongly to your current one.

it's ok to be confused, and it's ok to wonder. it's ok to want to understand. just realize that perfect understanding is an impossible, unobtainable goal.

do whatever you need to do to be happy and live well. if this includes changing your religion, consider it.

Sweetheart go to your Bible every day for at least three chapters per day and in your readings you will find your answers should you decide to actually study what you read.
No matter how your feel, or how tired you are, or how pressed for time you are. Read with the intent to learn and believe me you won't be falling away. You will fall into.
And by the way? Never be afraid to question what is in that book... it's the only way you're going to get answers from God.

God has given you life and the tools you need to succeed in that life, questioning what others say is good and Godly. If God wanted you to be an automaton you would be born with the bible in your brain and not have to read it.
Why would an all powerful being need humans to convey it's laws, why would it choose to make the only book it wants you to read be archaic stories of murder, rape, incest, war, sacrificing children and every other negative kind of thing you can find in the bible. Why would God choose middle Eastern people of 4 and 6 thousand years ago and give no updates?
Use your senses, sight, sound, taste , touch, smell, and intuition to navigate the world and you will do fine because you will be using what God gave you to live and not what people say God gave you to live.

You need to stick to the word of God- it is crucial that christians continue reading and studying their Bibles- for the word of God is alive and active as it says in Hebrews 4.

The enemy leads many astray when one is not seeking the Lord through His word. Satan will make other philosophies and false truths sound better. But if you are grounded in the truth- and know the word of God- The enemy has NO chance. Keep praying and seeking God- Attend a womens bible study!

Colossians 2:8 says

8See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

oh please don't listen to stupid people! Know in your heart what you believe. Faith is a good thing to have. I am saved and I wonder about things, but I know that a part of having faith is just that, the willingness to still believe without being shone proof. I feel sad for those who do not have faith, they are so lost and are opening themselves to other things. Stay strong, afterall, all will be revealed soon enough! take care

As you become more educated and intelligent you will want to "believe" even less and less. That's fine. Statistically very few people with extremely high IQ's believe in god. Right now you are exploring the universe with your own mind. You have a choice, open yourself up to the reality of what is around you or close your mind to the sad "truths" scribbled down a book by a bunch of cave dwelling men 2000 years ago.

You contradict yourself. You say to "want to believe" which implies you don't,necessarily. Then you say you're saved...either you believe or you don't.You're not saved if you "want to believe".You are if you DO BELIEVE.
You must be in the faith before you can fall out it,so you have a decision to make.
"If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." Romans 10:9
God bless ya !

keep your mind shut to new ideas. dont ask questions regarding how, howcome, or why, infact stay away from questions in general. oh and the more ignorant you are the better off you are...
according to the bible, Knowledge is a sin, as eve at from the tree of "knowledge". therefore god wanted us to not know any better. that is why so many christians dont ask questions regarding their faith.
