I have a video of a sexual assault done IN an US Marine military base; one Marine assaulted other Marine.
If I want to report it using e-mail, how can I do it?
Someone knows the e-mail addresses/websites of Marine “police”, or maybe Navy “police”, or some other military police force or institution that is capable of investigating this issue?
Thank you.

I don’t think so. Victims of sexual assault don’t report it because of fear, humiliation, embarrassment, and surprisingly guilt. ALSO I know the offender done it before and will most probably do it again, the offender must be stopped from doing it again don’t you THINK?!!!!

Yes, I am trying to stay anonymous. And believe me; they CAN NOT track my e-mail address.

Offenders disgrace THEMSELVES, not CNN.

"And what makes you so sure that the video accurately depicts what happened?"

And why do you want so much for me not to report it? Are you a sex offender yourself?

You should report it, if you are sure its real. Do you know these people? Do you know where they are stationed? If you know the base, then you should call and get the email address to send it to. If you are trying to stay anonymous, they can just an easily track an email as they can track a phone call, if you are worried about it getting back to you. I think you have a responsibility to report it if its real!

Am I correct in guessing that you are not a military member? In any case, if you know what base this was filmed on, you should be able to find an official website for the base. On the website, there should be contact info for Public Affairs, they would be people you would need to contact first, and they should be able to direct you to the appropriate agency on that base. Despite what others may tell you, it is always better to report these incidents than to keep it to yourself. You may very well be saving someone's life.

If you know what unit the alleged sexual offender is in, you can report it to his chain-of-command. If not, you can contact the Marine Corps Inspector General (http://hqinet001.hqmc.usmc.mil/ig/index.htm) or the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS)(http://www.ncis.navy.mil/). You can also contact local authorities and the chain-of-command will find out.
In reference to whether or not you should report this alleged crime, do what you feel is right. Follow your conscience. Remember, the people that post on here (including me) are strangers. We do not know you and you do not know us. If you feel you need advice as to whether or not to report this alleged crime, ask a friend or a professional. This is a very serious situation.

touch the Naval criminal Investigations provider. this is the criminal investigations branch of the U. S. military (in case you probably did no longer understand, the Marine Corps is a component of the army). they have jurisdiction over extreme felonies dedicated via Naval or Marine Corps workers.

I agree, the ramifications could be gigantic if this is all "alleged." The possibility of ruining someone's career and life should make you think heavily that what you have is indeed true.

It sounds like from your additional comments that you know this person, and it sounds like you have an agenda.

If this is true, and we are in such a society to "bring people down" why not take it to CNN. I am quite sure they would like to continue disgracing our Marines and men and women in uniform.

Unless you are one of the marines, I think you should mind your own. Wrong as it is, reporting a sexual assault has consequenses for the victim, and that goes double in the military. If the victim isn't reporting it, the most you should do is share the tape with the victim, if that is possible.

DID THE PERSON WHO WAS ASSUALTED REPORT THE CRIME ? IF NOT MIND YOUR BUSINESS. IT DOESN'T CONCERN YOU AND IF THE OTHER PERSON DIDN'T COMPLAIN WHATS IS IT TO YOU ? WORRY ABOUT YOUR LIFE. MAYBE THE PERCIVED VICTIM WAS ACTUALLY A PART OF IT. WHY DO YOU WANT TO DO VIA E-MAIL ? JUST GIVE IT TO A NEWS AGENCY IF YOU FEEL THAT STRONGLY ABOUT IT.
