As others have mentioned, the dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible. They are not a big part because they were destroyed in the flood. Prior to that dinosaurs roamed the earth. The fossil records are not reliable because they are based on sedimentation layers. They do not take into account a global flood with the rapid sedimentation that would occur with an event of this magnitude. In addition, God created everything fully mature. How old is a fully mature T-Rex who was made to live forever? No idea? Me neither. The environment prior to the flood was completely different. We know that things like radioactivity and pressure change aging. The Bible states that there was a layer of water over the earth. This would keep radioactive rays from reaching the earth. So much for carbon 14 dating. The additional weight of the water would also change the atmospheric pressure that all life forms were living under. Things under pressure age differently. Science must always be interpreted according to the Bible, not the other way around. Scientists are frequently wrong. God is never wrong. Whom do you believe?

The bible also mentions unicorns (Numbers 23:22) and dragons(Deuteronomy 32:33) and talking donkeys (Numbers 22:28-30).
Something else to those who maintain that the leviathans in the bible are dinosaurs and were destroyed by the great flood. How did this flood deposit all of the bones in distinct layers. Stegasaurs is in one layer and tyranosaurus is in another layer. They are never found together. Never!! Why are some of these layers only in certain parts of the world? If a giant flood killed off the dinosaurs, then why can we not find the bones scattered evenly. Why is there not any evidence of this global flood? Something like that should leave a very identifiable layer of sediment on every land mass in the world. Magic I suppose.
What about the cave paintings? There are no dinosaurs in any of those. What about the grand canyon? Some maintain that it was created by the great flood, yet you can find fossils in its walls? How did those fossils get there and the canyon be created. You only have one great flood to blame.

First of all, fossils are carbon-dated. You are assuming that carbon-dating is as accurate as its supporters say it is. Since nobody alive today was around millions of years ago, we don't know if it is accurate at all. Science is always changing. Did you know that Pluto is not a planet anymore??
There are three animals listed in the Bible that we no longer recognize. The tanniyn, the behemowth, and the Leviathan. "Tanniyn" has been translated to mean "dragon", "serpent", "sea-monster", "reptile", and.... "dinosaur". There are many translations for behemowth and leviathan also, some of them resembling dinosaurs. Others have identified these three creatures as mythical beings or modern animals (elephants, etc.).
The fact is that nobody knows what these creatures actually were, but conversely, nobody knows for sure that they weren't dinosaurs, either. We can speculate all day if we want, but the possibility that dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible is a very real one.

NO and there are quite a lot of other animals, the remains of which have been found, which were also not mentioned in the bible. For some peculiar reason it is the lack of the word dinosaur which troubles people but not the lack of the word giraffe or elephant. I don't believe that dodo is mentioned either but we know they existed - once.

Hardcore believers will tell you that the carbon dating used to date dinosaurs and their existence so long ago is inaccurate, no matter how much proof is offered .... so when debating about dinosaurs existing millions upon millions of years ago, most will simply tell you you're wrong, although science has proven otherwise.
Interesting piece I picked up from a christian site just now to illustrate my point:
"Unfortunately, our public school system and the media have convinced us that dinosaurs were extinct at least 60 million years before man appeared on earth. They have done such a good job in this area that we can not imagine people and dinosaurs living at the same time. The fact is that dinosaurs were created no more than one day before mankind, not many millions of years earlier."
See what I mean?

Some even hold it to be just over 6000 years old. The problem is that many sincere believers think that the Bible should be treated as a kind of science book, even though the various writers of the inspired texts would have had no more understanding of modern science then anyone from their time and culture. Such a view inadvertently devalues the human side of the divine/human nature of the sacred texts themselves.
This continues to put them in extremely difficult positions with respect to current scientific knowledge and particularly with the geologic record.
And no, the Bible makes no mention of dinosaurs. Any hermeneutical attempt to try and make the text say otherwise requires linguistic gymnastics that stretch the limits of credulity.

The Bible discusses "leviathan", which may be a form of dinosaur. The carbon-dating method of telling the age of fossils has come under some scrutiny lately.
Noah could have taken baby dinosaurs or even eggs (tho he couldn't have told the sex that way) into the Ark, and after the flood they could have been killed off by the change of climates, as as science says they did.

People are mentioning Leviathan...however that was not about a dinosaur, it was about a crocodile. As to be specific, no it does not have the word dinosaur in it, though it does talk about big sea monsters and beasts. God created animals and if fossils are evidence of what was, then God then did create dinosaurs. I have info on them if you're interested in it further.

It mentions "beasts of the earth" which many christians including myself have come to the knowledge to mean dinosaurs. It would be good to check the hebrew and greek text for those passages.
And Leviathan- That is one of the beasts mentioned, to mean a dinosaur.

Some say that the dragons mentioned in Job are Dinosaurs but I don't think so. I think there are a lot of animals that have existed that aren't mentioned in the Scripture... Jim
