you can try to go http://www.microsoft.com and search for it. you can still get it back by going to control panel, and click on add/remove program, click on add/remove windows component and look for paint. you should get it back.

Microsoft Paint is included with Windows. You cannot uninstall it. You might be able to remove it using the "turn windows features on or off" link on the left side of the Programs and Features applet of the control panel, but the solution to that is to simply turn it back on. If it has become corrupt, I suggest that you run SFC /SCANNOW with your Windows DVD handy to repair it.

You deleted the executable? mspaint.exe? Or did you delete a shortcut that points to the executable? If its the later then you are fine. Just make a new shortcut. If not then you should be able to copy mspaint.exe from someone elses computer into your %WINDIR% (C:\Windows) directory. Go to Start > Run and type mspiant then press Enter. If teh program opens your fine. Make a new shortcut

Are you sure you deleted the program, as opposed to deleting the shortcut icon?
click Start, Programs, Accessories, and see if it is listed there. If it is, right-click on it and "create a shortcut" which you will then cut/paste to the desktop.

if you have WindowsXP
try doing a System Restore
click - Start - All programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore
and follow the instructions from there
also - restore to a date before the deletion happened
(make sure you back up your hard drive to disc cause you might lose some files - music - pics when you do this)
