In the Bible it states that all sin are equal there is no sin greater or lesser than another. Someone who steals is as much as sinner as someone who fornicates. We are all born into sin through the sins of Adam and Eve, but it's through Jesus we are reborn and given a chance at salvation. If we repent of our sins he is a forgiving God and will forgive our sins, but if we continuously sin and never seek forgiveness we will be condemned to the fires of hell.

There are some very good, moral people in the world, who are not Christians, but morality is NOT what they will be judged on when they meet God. You mentioned "serious sins", well I submit to you, that ALL sin is serious to Jesus....so much so, that the only way our souls could be ransomed back was to shed His blood and die a substitutionary death on the cross for each and every one of us. So what we think is small, is actually quite great; for if it's not brought to Jesus for HIS forgiveness, well, then we will have to pay for that sin ourself....in hell.

In God's eyes, there is no such thing as a serious sin. A sin is a sin is a sin. Point blank.

We, as finite humans, put weight on certain sins.

But if we have accepted the gift of salvation, our sins are covered. This doesn't give us a pass to roam free and sin as we please, but gives us forgiveness when we mess up if we repent. I mean, if someone (God) is giving you a gift (salvation is a gift) that can save you from eternal damnation, it is only reasonable that you honor and respect them.

It is Satan who condemns and accuses us before God. God does not condemn, He justifies us. There is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. In the judgment, Satan will accuse us before God of all the sins he has tempted us to commit. For those who are in Christ, Jesus will stand up for us and declare, their names are written upon the palms of My hands. Judgment is given in our favor because of the robe of Christ's righteousness we are given to wear.

'Cause it's the little ones that'll get ya'. They're the ones that prove all mankind has sinned, and is in need of a Savior.
