Add a 2 tablespoons of sugar to the mix then also lightly sprinkle the tops of the muffins or the loaf of bread with sugar- only way to make those pkg mixes edible

You want it sweet, or good? add 1/2 can of creamed corn,2tsp of sugar,1/2 green chili pepper (chopped),1/4 c bacon bits. Make the cornbread by the directions of the box using buttermilk, but add the other ingredients. mmmmmm good.

Add honey. That makes it sweeter and moister without the harsh taste of sugar.

A tablespoon of sugar for each box. Honey works well too. Add a tablespoon of corn oil (or whatever you have) to improve the texture.

Sugar always worked for me. 2 tbs per package and adjust accordingly. Brown sugar is also a nice twist, however, use only 1 tsp per package.
