All religions claim to be the only way to God.

Christianity doesn't claim to be the only way to God. What it states is that the Christ is the only one who can take you to God. That means that some poor soul from fifteen thousand years ago would stand before God and the Christ Jesus would say to him or her Welcome!
Because the Christ knows that this poor pagan who has never heard of God or the Messiah lived their lives as best as they could with what little they knew. Jesus the Christ knows their hearts!
Today there are many like those people of ancient times who do not know of Jesus. However they are doing the best they can with what they have and if some one thinks that God has no love for His children that He would not make provisions for them then they have a poor and slanted view of our Holy Father.
Christ is the answer for that and He will answer for those who have done the best they could regardless of their religious knowledge. Or their lack of it.
He knows the hearts of so called Christians and He knows the hearts of true Christians, and he knows the hearts of non Christians. He will answer for those who are just in their lives. He will do this with all the love you could never imagine.
How's that for one of the beauties of God?
